Question 1

Is Gytus completely free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Gytus by Prineor is 100% free with no paywalls, trial limits, or watermarks. All 14 CV templates, 23 profession presets, and A4 PDF downloads are available immediately at zero cost.

Question 2

Do I need to create an account or sign up to build a CV?

Accepted Answer

No account or email sign-up is required to use Gytus. You can open the builder, enter your career details, and download your finished PDF immediately without registering.

Question 3

Is my personal CV data private and where is it stored?

Accepted Answer

Yes, your CV data is stored strictly inside your own web browser using localStorage on your device. Gytus runs client-side without a backend database, so your personal details, work history, and contact information are never uploaded to external servers.

Question 4

How can I back up my CV or move it to another device?

Accepted Answer

You can export a portable JSON backup file from Step 13 (Export & Share) or from the My Saved CVs page. Import that JSON file into Gytus on any computer or phone to restore your entire CV layout and text.

Question 5

Are Gytus CV templates ATS-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every Gytus template uses clean semantic headings, standard date formats, and selectable vector text when exported via the "Text PDF (ATS-friendly)" option. For strict enterprise Applicant Tracking Systems, we recommend single-column layouts like ATS Standard, Corporate Bordered, or Banking Navy.

Question 6

How many CV templates and profession setups does Gytus include?

Accepted Answer

Gytus includes 14 distinct A4 CV templates and 23 profession presets. Choosing a profession automatically configures the most relevant CV sections and recommends tailored layouts for your industry.
